Pizza with Char Siu and Bell Pepper

1 ready-to-bake homemade or store-bought pizza crust
150 g char siu (Chinese barbecued pork)
50 g green bell pepper
3 cloves garlic
100 g mozzarella cheese (grated)

3 tbsp soy sauce
20 g sugar
15 g malt sugar
1/4 tsp minced ginger
1/4 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp chopped green onion

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF.
  2. Mix sauce ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
