Crab Cake


500 g Dungeness crab meat
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 stalks green onion, thinly sliced
1 roasted red bell pepper, seed removed
1½ cup panko bread crumbs
1/2 cup canola oil

Lemon Mayonnaise

3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp lemon juice


  1. Mix lemon mayonnaise ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Mix crab meat, bread crumbs, green onion and bell pepper in a bowl. Add lemon mayonnaise and mix well. Form into pucks and coat with panko.
  3. Heat canola oil in a heavy bottom skillet to medium high. Place crab cakes in skillet carefully. Brown both sides until golden, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and drain on paper towel. Serve hot.
