Steamed Ground Pork Patty


320 g ground pork
4 cloves garlic, minced
20 g Tianjian preserved vegetable
1 egg white
1 stalk green onion, chopped


1 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp sesame oil


  1. Rinse and pat dry preserved vegetable. Cut into small pieces.
  2. Mix pork with garlic, preserved vegetable and 1/4 cup water. Add egg white and seasoning ingredients. Stir the mixture in one

    direction with chopsticks until gluey.

  3. Arrange the mixture in a patty in a heat-proof dish. Sprinkle green onion on top.
  4. Steam over medium-high heat for 10 minutes until the pork is done. Serve hot.
