Getting fit inevitably means sweating, but what is that stinky, salty fluid anyway?

This video from the American Chemical Society goes over four fun facts about the workout byproduct we love to hate.

Baked Egg


4 thin slices ham
3 large eggs
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
3 oz mature Cheddar cheese, finely grated
2 tsp chopped fresh chives
2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
slices of hot buttered toast, to serve


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. line 4 greased ramekins with ham slices. Beat together eggs, mustard and yogurt.
  3. Stir 1/4 cup of the cheese into the egg mixture. Mix together chives and parsley and add half to the mixture. Stir well, then spoon into prepared ramekins. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and herbs. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and set.
  4. Serve the baked eggs with slices of hot buttered toast.

Makes 4 servings.
