Drunken Chicken Wings


8 pieces chicken wings
1/2 cup Shaoshing wine

Seasoning Sauce

2 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
1 cups Shaoshing wine
2 tbsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
2 slices ginger


  1. Rinse and wipe dry chicken wings.
  2. Bring seasoning sauce to a boil in a pot.
  3. Add chicken wings to the sauce, when it reboils, lower the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until chicken wings are cooked. Remove the pot from the heat, add 1/2 cup Shaoshing wine, leave chicken wings in the sauce for 1/2 hour until well flavoured.
  4. Remove chicken wings, drain well and leave to cool. Chop into bite-sized pieces and serve.
